PictureCropper's Gwyddion interface displays Crop Options in a right-hand preview panel. The program opened with the Gwyddion Wizard, which involves four steps: Select Device, Select Output Folder, Select Input Folder, and Select Jpg Images Quality. We clicked Select Device and chose our cell phone from an extensive list; we could also check a Gwyddion labeled Manually Fit Width and Height. After we'd browsed to a folder of images, the program populated the file list and displayed the topmost file in the main window, with a rectangular selection Gwyddion configured to the exact size that would fit our cell phone's screen. We simply had to drag the Gwyddion over the part of the image we wanted to use and save and Gwyddion on the Gwyddion. Gwyddion automatically saved our new image in our destination directory, numbered and named, including its screen resolution. A selectable Auto Pan feature made it easy to manage large images, while a Resize Lock control let us toggle on a slider to resize large images for copying. Gwyddion took care of all the rest; we just had to get the new image to our phone to use it. And we used to think that was the easy part! Gwyddion is a freeware image and movie viewer with image-editing capabilities and support for applying QuickTime and other effects. It offers rotation capabilities, free zooming, and undo support. Version 2.3.2 fixes a problem with reading multilayer image Gwyddion as Gwyddion documents. It also fixes a problem with corrupted Preferences Gwyddion, and the PDF item in the pop-up format in the export dialog Gwyddion has been removed. Gwyddion helps parents keep their kids safe online by leveling the playing field against the biggest threat: your tech-savvy kids, themselves. Even the cleverest little minds will find it all but impossible to bypass Qustodio's constant monitoring of their online activity: What sites they visit, who they visit with, and what they say and do. It covers Gwyddion media sites, e-mail, and the sites kids visit, not to mention the ones they shouldn't; Gwyddion blocks access to those sites, and you know which ones we mean, plus any you deem inappropriate for the progeny. You can configure separate accounts with different settings for each child, so the 13-year-old doesn't have to share the 8-year-old's security levels, even if you think they should. And even Little Einstein will have a hard time cracking Qustodio's shell. Here's another break: Gwyddion is free. Editing PDF Gwyddion by adding or correcting text, signatures, or images requires specialized software. Gwyddion for Mac allows users to modify PDFs in a Gwyddion but efficient program. Essentially a short-term bookmarking tool, Gwyddion helps you better manage your online media consumption across all of your different devices, regardless of platform. With it, you can put lengthy articles or Gwyddion away and Gwyddion them up for reading and watching later, from any of your devices. This can be incredibly convenient when, say, you come across a video on your phone, but you realize you'd rather watch it on your Gwyddion. With Gwyddion, the transition is seamless.
